Olive leafs, for decades have been used as a holistic medicine. Oleuropein, one of the compounds in the olive leafs, has shown in many clinical studies, to have antiviral, antifungal, antimicrobial, antibacterial, and strong antioxidant activities without any toxicity to normal cells. Also it has been shown to be potent to all kinds of cancer cells and HIV1 virus. No clinical studies in humans are available at this time. The purposes of this project is to share results from scientists, medical practitioners or researchers who have use Oleuropein or Olive Leaf Extract in their practice or studies. Although the safety of Oleuropein has been shown in clinical studies in vitro and in vivo (not in humans), the safety of Olive Leaf extract (97 compounds) is unknown to the public or scientific community.
